When you purchase a study print set from Kappler Architects P.S. you are purchasing a 24x36 inch graphic representation of the home design. These plans are presented in marketing format and are larger versions of what you can view on our website. Plan set includes;

Kappler Architects, P.S., and the purchaser is granted a one-time use license only, unless otherwise specified in any part of their contract with Kappler Architects, P.S. This license is not be transferable.

Lateral (Structural) Design:
Should you require Lateral Design work, our standard Stock Lateral includes Five 24” x 36” sets. Two of these sets are signed and stamped for permit submittal, including standard construction details. The other three sets are for the client’s use. Also included are Three 8 ½ “ x 11” sets of Lateral Calculations, and two of these sets are signed and stamped for permit submittal.

*Note: We only recommend Lateral Design for clients in Western Washington. Our office is located in Western Washington, and we are therefore more familiar with the requirements of the various jurisdictions and geological conditions.

Customizing Plans:
All of our stock plans can be customized to suit your particular needs, be they stringent site requirements or personal preferences. If you would like us to give you an estimate of customizing one of our stock plans, simply print it out, mark up how you think you would like to modify it, and fax it to our office (425-641-5318). We can then discuss with you what is entailed to complete your project.
All customization work is performed on an hourly plus expenses basis, with a budgeted amount of hours, approved by the client before work begins.
